We are a family run Bed & Breakfast overlooking Central Park. Our bedrooms are all en suite and we include a traditional English Breakfast. Ideal for single guests couples or families our location is ideally placed for all major attractions in Plymouth.
Overlooking Plymouth Central Park Alma Lodge Guest House is 5 mins walk from Plymouth Train station and 15 minutes walk into the City Centre (and also on a regular bus route into the City Centre) - City centre has a new indoor shopping centre - Drakes Circus - and Plymouth University is only a short walk away also. We are situated within a 2 minute walk of a Weatherspoons Pub therefore ideal if you are tired after a long car journey. We are only 3 miles from HMS RALEIGH. On bus route to most areas of the City including a direct bus route to Raleigh. Ideally situated for Dockyard DML and HMS DRAKE. Alma Lodge Guest House overlooks the small golf course in Central Park which has a picnic area lovely play area for children and indoor heated swimming pool and diving pool Also very close proximity to Plymouth Argyle FC. Plymouth is historical with its Mayflower Steps in the Barbican (where the first American settlers set sail from England). Scott of the Antartic Sir Francis Drake and the famous Hoe. We are only 5 mins drive from the historical Hoe (sea front) and Barbican areas which make for a great day out.
Travel along dual carriageway (with a bus depot on your right) until you reach a roundabout (called the Pennycomequick roundabout). Go round this and back up the dual carriageway. This is Alma Road. Travel up the hill (dual carriageway) and when passing speed camera you should see an old fashioned lampost in garden with swinging sign - this is Guest House ie 125 Alma Road. You can pull in on driveway or turn (corner plot) on Cuffe Road - unrestricted parking.;A38 - Part 1
